Listings
Listings are built from the HPCSA's public register and public directory listings. This site republishes the facts listed on "How listings work" and nothing else: no phone numbers, email addresses or bio text. A physiotherapist or biokineticist can ask for their listing to be removed from the link on its page; the request is honoured by hand and the listing does not return when the site is rebuilt.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry through a listing page, the site stores what you typed, the page you sent it from, your browser’s user agent and a daily hash of your IP address, and emails the enquiry to the people who run the directory, who pass it to the physiotherapist or biokineticist. If you give an email address you receive one acknowledgement. Reply STOP to it and the enquiry is deleted. Enquiries are kept until they have been passed on and are no longer needed.
Measurement
The site records page views and interactions without cookies or identifiers. The only key is a hash of your IP address that changes every day. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted.
Who to contact
Use the forms linked on every listing: one to claim or correct it, one to ask for it to be removed. Both reach the people who run the directory. If you sent an enquiry, you can also reply to its acknowledgement.
